One of the priorities of the Gelati Rehabilitation Committee is the development of educational programs, which are planned and implemented in close cooperation with the partner institutions. International Workshop in Cultural Heritage Conservation

We are pleased to inform you that an international workshop on the conservation of the wall paintings at the Gelati Monastery Complex will be held from October 3-6, 2024. This workshop will contribute to the development of research and monitoring components for the Gelati wall painting programme. The topic of the workshop is "Multispectral Imaging and 3D Photogrammetric Monitoring of the Condition in the Conservation of Wall Paintings."
