Comprehensive geophysical survey of the courtyard and surrounding areas of the UNESCO World Heritage Gelati Monastery have started. The works will apply two complementary methods magnetometer- and electrical resistivity surveys. The results will provide a detailed view beneath the ground (up to 2-3 m depth).
